Circulation Desk
Issues, returns and fines at the pace of a date stamp.
Circulation Desk puts issues, returns, renewals, reservations and fines on one screen. Scan a member card, scan the books and the due dates are set by your own borrowing rules, holiday calendar and fine policy.

WHAT CIRCULATION DESK DOES
Built for the way your library works.
Issue and return on one screen
Scan the member card, scan the books. Due dates, limits and pending fines show instantly, so the queue at the desk keeps moving.
Renewals and reservations
Readers renew from their phones within your limits. Reserved books are held at the desk and the next reader is told when a copy returns.
Fine rules you set
Per-day fines by member type and material, grace days, maximum caps and waivers with a recorded reason.
Reminders before and after due
Email and in-app reminders go out before the due date, on the day and when a book is overdue, on a schedule you choose.
Holiday calendar
Vacations, exam breaks and public holidays are skipped when due dates and fines are calculated.
Desk, counter or mobile
Run the desk from a PC with a scanner, or from a phone that reads member QR cards during book fairs and class visits.
HOW IT RUNS
Four stamps on the card.
Identify
Scan the member card QR or barcode, or search by name or roll number.
Check
Borrowing limit, pending fines and reservations are shown before the issue.
Stamp
Scan the books. Due dates follow your rules and the holiday calendar.

QUESTIONS
About Circulation Desk.
Can different members have different limits?
Yes. Students, faculty, research scholars and staff can each have their own loan limits, loan periods and fine rules.
How are reservations handled?
When a reserved book is returned, the desk is prompted to hold it and the next reader in the queue is notified.
Can the librarian waive a fine?
Yes. Waivers are allowed for staff with permission, and every waiver records who approved it and why.
Does it work without a barcode scanner?
Yes. You can search by title or accession number, or use a phone camera to scan barcodes and member QR codes.
