Catalogue Studio
Scan the ISBN. Check the record. Shelve the book.
Catalogue Studio builds a complete catalogue record from a single barcode scan. It fetches bibliographic data, drafts subjects, keywords and a short summary with AI, then holds everything in a review queue until a librarian approves it for the catalogue.

WHAT CATALOGUE STUDIO DOES
Built for the way your library works.
ISBN scan, one book or a whole box
Use a USB barcode scanner, a phone camera or a pasted list of ISBNs. A box of new arrivals becomes a queue of draft records in minutes.
AI-drafted subjects and summaries
Subject headings, keywords and a two-line summary are suggested as drafts. Nothing reaches the public catalogue until a librarian approves it.
Copies, accession and call numbers
Attach any number of copies to one record, continue your existing accession series and assign Dewey, UDC or local call numbers.
MARC 21 in, MARC 21 out
Import records from MARC 21, CSV or Excel and export them whenever you like. Your catalogue always remains your data.
Spine and barcode labels
Print spine labels, accession barcodes and QR labels on standard label sheets directly from the approved queue.
Indian-language catalogues
Catalogue Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil and other titles in Unicode, with transliterated search so readers can type in English.
HOW IT RUNS
Four stamps on the card.
Scan
Scan the ISBN on the back cover or type the accession number for older books without one.
Fetch
Title, authors, publisher, edition, pages and cover are filled from bibliographic sources.
Suggest
AI drafts subjects, keywords and a short summary. Each draft field is clearly marked.
Approve
The librarian edits or accepts, assigns the call number and shelf, and the book goes live.

QUESTIONS
About Catalogue Studio.
What about older books with no ISBN?
Create the record by accession number or title. Catalogue Studio still drafts subjects and keywords from the title, author and any notes you add.
Can we keep our existing accession numbers?
Yes. Imported records keep their accession numbers, and new books continue from the last number in each of your series.
Will AI change records we already have?
No. AI only drafts fields for records you send to the review queue, and every draft needs a librarian's approval.
Can we catalogue books in regional languages?
Yes. Titles, authors and notes are stored in Unicode, and transliterated search lets readers find them by typing in English.
